Chinese Women Take Great Steps as Entrepreneurs

来源：中国妇女英文网 The 2011 Chinese Women Entrepreneurs Development Report released by China Association of Women Entrepreneurs on Thursday, says women entrepreneurs' property conditions and profit levels are higher than the national average. The report also said companies female entrepreneurs as directors made more profit than other companies in the same industry. Compared to 2009, the revenue of companies in the charge of women increased dramatically. AApproximately 59 percent of companies had sales revenue of more than 10 million yuan (US$ 1.585 million). The proportion of companies with more than 100 million yuan (US$ 15.85 million) increased 12 percent. Meanwhile, companies directed by women had made great progress in technique innovation and branding construction. When it came to a company's social responsibility, more than 80 percent of women entrepreneurs were active in carrying out social responsibility through providing support for disadvantaged people in society. But, most of the companies in the charge of women were still medium and small companies. The proportion of big companies with total assets of more than 100,000,000 yuan was only 27 percent.
